Concluding 2023, this is a summary of how much my art improved this year!

I’m so happy I finally got my works to be published (yeah, my art is actually for display purposes), something I’ve been longing for a long, long time ago until now. My hopes for 2024 are to keep publishing my works, finish and begin with new projects (I actually have lotsa more stories to tell teehee) and to keep being with you guys.

I think I want to get back to work on it in a very rushed way (like one after another illustration) because I´m planning a huge thing ahead and I´m already sick of waiting for a long time.

Hey everyone! Just wanted to say… well, yeah. I know not much has passed since my project Friends started, and I wanted to say I’m going to take a (probably) 2-month hiatus from the story.

Why this, you ask? Working on it once a month was making me miss doing digital illustrations lately, and I thought that maybe wasn’t given me much creativity or ideas, so yeah.

Even tho I recognize I’m still a small artist (but I have experience drawing), please look forward into other announcements or stuff (idk) if so!

I took this photo last night because during the past few days I didn’t have much time to draw because of work and I didn’t draw during my free time, but it wasn’t because I was tired, I just didn’t want to because it also requires effort and I needed some time for myself, so yeah…

Hey everyone! Actually, I’ve been pretty obsessed these days with my project -you know it, Friends- despite my schedule (I make new illustration of the series once a month) even though I wasn’t planning the composition for my next drawing. More likely… um… won’t tell because spoilers. And during the meantime, I thought I would post some original art before this series came to light.

So, Friends actually originated from an improvised drawing of a random character (and that character was about to be Tadashi) I made during this spring. It was about to be just Tadashi himself, with a bunch of skits. Then, when I took the project seriously, the series was about to be called “Tanuki Boy”, but later I rejected that title because I thought it was too focused on Tadashi.

These were some of the original designs (man, I should’ve kept Osamu’s hair as the original, maybe I’ll redesign him the next illustration LOL).

I changed Tadashi’s hairstyle to make it a bit more spiky so it could adapt himself to shape language (I’m still a beginner with it btw!). Osamu and Mei back then weren’t supposed to be twins, but changed it so I thought that would make the story interesting, the idea being influenced by a concept of The Lion King. I mildly redesigned Mei’s hair because hair is tricky, and I wanted to improve at it.

Oh! And about Chika, she was a scrapped character, along with an unnamed male one who’s appearance idea suddenly got blank in my head when I had to design him.

Also, the reason why they have no clothes on (don’t worry, no nudes) is because I struggled a bit with the school uniform. Fortunately I solved that problem.

andddd, some misc drawing I made while the original concept still stayed.

PS: I might be changing Mei’s dream job, i dunno if I should do it lol
