The 1st Anniversary Art for Friends is going to come late, because…

… what can I say.

I just can’t believe it.

A year already?

No way.

It was a lazy summer night.

I wasn’t doing anything.

I had just logged in,

I don’t remember why,

But I just did.

A while after I entered, I got invested in Newgrounds content,

And when I came across Eddsworld,

I had found out he was eager to work on his projects.

And I thought “You’ve always wanted to do that, right? Then stop wasting your time and just do it already!!!!!”

During those times, I was still developing my site and trying out new stuff,

Had lots of traditional tools,

And with them, I thought Friends’ aesthetic would suit it.

In fact, it was an experimental project.

I went to the studio,

Grabbed one of my sketchbooks and the colored pencils I had,

Designed the characters on another one to prepare myself

And finally got on to it.

I think it took me a day.

Why? Because since it was summer, whenever I’d need to find a reference,

I’d end up being distracted.

Fortunately, I remembered to keep working but felt too embarrassed.

And so the day came,

August 23rd, 2023.

Who knew that piece of paper based on an improvised doodle would change my life.

Today’s been a memorable day with great gifts (both from the net and real life) and some serious self-reflections. Therefore I’m grateful to have survived another year (dw I’m ok). Thank you so much for the support!

Yep, it’ll disappear on March 1st, 2025. Fortunately not too little, but I’d really like to people to keep asking me questions here while it lasts, because by the day it comes it’ll be pretty empty, which makes me sad. Of course I’m not going to force you, it’s just that I’d like to take advantage of it, but the rules are still the same ofc (no personal questions).

I’m going to take a rest from the net. I’m socially burnt out which led me to be affected both physically and psychologically, but I’ll still keep creating. I might come back on my birthday since I have something prepared.
